Birthing a New You

Hello, beautiful one.

Have you ever heard of Hypnobirthing? I stumbled upon the concept when I was pregnant for the first time, and I fell in love with the idea.

This post isn’t about birthing babies, so bear with me. All I want you to know about Hypnobirthing is "women learn to dismiss fear-based stories, misinformation, and birthing myths; and they are helped to see birth as normal. They learn to trust that their bodies know how to bring their babies into the world in the calm and gentle way."

For me, the Hypnobirthing method was a profound experience when I was birthing my babies, but I think this method can also be applied to any life transition where we are birthing something new.

I think it’s especially relevant when we look at what we birth when times are tough.

Even when we’re stuck in a trench and we feel like our “know how” has been thrown out the window, we’re in the middle of birthing something new.

Even when our life upheaval causes us to question our ability to trust ourselves and what is next, we’re nurturing something as it grows.

Even when the excruciating pain associated with the mess we’re in causes us fear, we’re moving into the next phase.

There’s power in seeing this birth as normal. There’s power in trusting that we are in control of how gentle we bring ourselves into this next phase of our lives.

You can learn to dismiss fear-based thoughts, misinformation, and "birthing myths" as you transition into a new season of your life.

Pay attention to those fear-based thoughts.

Shift the thought.

Pay attention to the misinformation.

You know what’s best for you.

Pay attention to the “birthing myths.”

The truth is within you.

Give yourself the space, trust and encouragement to birth the next season of your life in a peaceful and extraordinarily beautiful manner.

The world is waiting to meet the real you.

Always sending light and love your way,

Aria
